Plant a tree

If us people are good at something, then it is building up excess carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, contributing to climate change, the biggest current problem the world has to deal with. Trees, however, help fight it.

As trees grow, they help stop climate change by removing carbon dioxide from the air, storing carbon in the trees and soil, and releasing oxygen into the atmosphere.

Annually, an acre of trees absorbs the amount of carbon dioxide equal to driving your car for 42 000 kilometres. And did you know that one tree alone can produce enough oxygen for four people?

As well as cleaning the air, many species of wildlife depend on trees for habitat. Trees provide food, protection, and homes for many birds and mammals.

New research estimates that a worldwide planting programme could remove just under one-third of all the emissions from human activities that remain in the atmosphere today. If this is true, it’s fantastic news.

During the whole of December, we will plant one tree per order. We have chosen to plant our trees in Sweden, which gives us 100% traceability and even a name of the land owner, to ensure we can follow the process closely. Thank you helping us contributing to a better planet.
