NAME Mia
LOCATION Stokenewington, London
OCCUPATION Owner of Madseventies Vintage, a boutique that sells premium vintage inspired by the 70’s
Mia is the fabulous owner of Madseventies Vintage, which is a London-based premium vintage boutique. Madseventies specializes in the golden era of the 70’s and they strive to find new homes for all the unique vintage pieces in their collection. Sustainability is one of Madseventies’ core values and just like us at Swedish Stockings they also believe in a more sustainable future in fashion.

Why is sustainability important to you?
Because we as consumers are contributing toward protecting Mother Earth and the ecosystem. And personally you don't need fast fashion to look fabulous.
What are your favourite qualities about Swedish Stockings’ products?
Great quality, they have a fun element to them. They come in a great range of colours and jazz up any outfit.

Who is your style inspiration (dead or alive)?
My style has been inspired by icons such as Debbie Harry, Françoise Hardy, Mick Jagger, Bianca Jagger, Patti Smith and everyday people.
–

Patti Smith in the 70's and Françoise Hardy in the 70's
–
What is your best styling tip?
Start your outfit around a tonal, classic piece and build around that by adding your prints, layering and bold colours. A dagger collar and a pair of over-sized sunglasses is always a yes to me!
