What began as a creative collaboration a year ago has now evolved into our limited edition capsule collection Integrated Parts, co-designed with the tastemaker Leandra Medine Cohen. This is a collection that redefines fall and winter dressing, with bold tights that transform any outfit into a statement.
In an interview, Leandra explains how she has been a longtime fan of Swedish Stockings. She admires our ability to elevate tights into something luxurious, noting that “there is no other brand that places such a luxury premium on tights, and their way with image and communication as well as design is so thoughtful."
Shot by Cody Lidtke, the Integrated Parts campaign draws inspiration from the editorial work PLAY, by Glorietta Reantaso, Anita Szymczak, Isabelle Wenzel, a fabulous experiment of movement and print.
“As the collection showcases diverging styles, we really wanted to make these different moods shine through and bring out the different parts that make up our personal style. One day you might feel more confident and bold, another day you might want to bet on subtlety and elegance. And it couldn’t have been more perfect to have Leandra herself style the shoot. After all, she is the professional dresser and creator-at-large”, says Beatriz Gama, Creative Lead at Swedish Stockings.
As co-designer, Leandra explains how each style in the collection reflects a different personality, integrating the different parts of your style with one central focus – you. By enacting different moods reflective of each style intrinsic to Leandra’s own personality through movement, and layering them simultaneously, you understand what Leandra is all about. She is whimsical, bold and she knows what she likes. The collections consist of 4 styles, representing the different moods for styling that we all have within ourselves.
From the styling expert herself, Leandra shares her thoughts on how to style bold tights with courage, “start by wearing them under pants, it feels less daunting when they function more like socks. As you grow more comfortable, you can start raising your hemlines,” she says.
For us who love the little black dress, the bold styles from the collection are the ultimate surprise for the classic dress. “Add a surprising pair of tights, such as the Roxana Tiger Tights with metallic sandals”, suggests Leandra.
For Swedish Stockings, the collaboration and launch of Integrated Parts represent more than a new range of products, it showcases how the brand continues to evolve and redefines what tights can be, transforming a once-functional garment into a center piece of personal style.
