The materials that we use are essential to creating sustainable products. We are constantly looking for ways to extend the lifecycle of our tights using new materials and new ways to produce them, elevating fit and function.

Amni Soul Eco® is a biodegradable polyamide and products that are made of this material have limited environmental impacts because of the ability to be converted into organic matter (biomass) and biogas when disposed of in the right conditions (landfill). Biodegradability as determined by the standard test method ASTM D5511.
Amni Soul Eco® is produced by Solvay and distributed by Fulgar.

ECONYL® 100% regenerated yarn is a nylon 6 (polyamide) yarn. It is made from post and pre-consumer waste. The post-consumer waste comes from carpet fluff or abandoned fishing nets, while the pre-consumer waste mostly comes from industrial waste.
ECONYL® is produced by Aquafil in Italy.
Certifications: OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100
EVO® is a plant based material. It is made from castor oil from the castor bean plant, a completely renewable resource that does not require high amounts of water nor subtracts arable land for food use. Officially a final product or plastic to be called bio-based must contain at least 20% renewable carbon content.
EVO® is produced by Fulgar in Italy.

Q-NOVA® yarn is a regenerated nylon 6.6 (polyamide) yarn that reduces Co2 emissions by 80% and cuts down water usage by 90% compared to a virgin polyamide yarn. The yarn is made from otherwise unusable nylon scraps, which could not have been reused in any other way and would have otherwise been disposed of.
Q-NOVA® is produced by Fulgar in Italy and more than 50% of the fibre comes from recycled materials.

Q-CYCLE® is an innovative polyamide 6.6 that can be used to produce high quality fabrics. It is made from pyrolysis oil from end-of-life tires.
Q-CYCLE® recycled polyamide is produced by Fulgar in Italy.
Certifications: OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, ISCC PLUS certification
SENSIL® EcoCare is made from Nylon 6.6, highest quality manmade fiber, even though it is a recycled yarn. The recycled polyamide is a pre-consumer recycled fiber.
SENSIL® is produced by Nilit in Israel.

Unfortunately there is a worldwide shortage of recycled elastane. When possible, we use recycled elastane which comes from production waste.
For our Softwear Collection, produced by Athena Calze S.r.l., we use virgin elastane that is produced by Fulgar in Italy. Certifications: OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100
All products with virgin elastane made by Emy Calze S.r.l., Calze Illeana S.p.a. and Clazificio Primato S.r.l. are produced with Creora® elastane. Creora® is produced by Hyosung in South Korea. Certificates: OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100
ROICA™ recycled elastane is made from pre-consumer materials (residual substances from producer Asahi Kasei's production of other materials).
ROICA™ contains 58% of pre-consumer recycled contents, and is produced by Asahi Kasei Corporation Fibres & Textiles in Japan.

Organic cotton is produced without the use of harmful pesticides, harsh chemical bleaches or dyes and is allergy-free. We have a few different suppliers of organic cotton, depending on the product.
Filmar in Italy produce the organic cotton for our Bella Socks. Certifications: GOTS, OSC
Red Wolf S.rl. in Italy produce the organic cotton for our Thea Socks, Signe Socks, Stina Tights and Sonja Children Tights. Certifications: GOTS, OSC, OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, GRS
Organic wool is a natural, renewable and biodegradable fiber. Organic wool is a fibre that comes from farms that put animal welfare and the environment first. We have a few different suppliers of organic wool, depending on the product. All the wool we use is certified mulesing-free.
Südwolle Group produce the wool yarn for our Ylva Tights, Freja Tights and Knee-highs. The wool is from South Africa. Certifications: Responsible Wool Standard, mulesing-free declaration, OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100
Eurolast in Italy produce the organic wool for our Johanna Socks. Certifications: Responsible Wool Standard, mulesing-free declaration. ISO 9001:2008, OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100
Miroglio in Italy produce the cashmere for our Alice Leggings and Tights. The cashmere is from China, the yarn is produced in Italy. Certifications: No certificates at the moment
