Put your old tights to use through our recycling program. Traditional nylon tights are made from synthetic fibers that do not decompose or can be recycled into new tights. By recycling them with us, we take a step toward a circular fashion system and give your tights a new life.

At Swedish Stockings, we are committed to driving change in the hosiery industry. Through our recycling program, we give worn-out tights a second life, preventing them from ending up in landfills. We have recycled thousands of tights since 2016, repurposing them into tables, art and new garments.

In the beginning, we used your tights to be used as filler material for industrial fibre glass tanks, often used in the commercial industry to separate grease from water, such as at gas stations and restaurants. In 2020, we decided to do something more with your used tights. In partnership with Swedish architect-turned-designer Gustaf Westman, we have created a collection of tables. Since then, we've partnered with artists and designers to create new objects from your used tights.
