These general terms and conditions of sale as set out below shall apply to Swedish Stockings’s (SWE-S AB, reg nr: 556932-4162) supply to the customer of any of the products listed on this website www.swedishstockings.com. Customers should read the "Terms & Conditions" carefully before ordering any products from this website. By ordering any of Swedish Stockings’s products, the customer agrees to be bound by the "Terms & Conditions".
2. Payments Credit Card Security
Swedishstockings.com takes credit card data security very seriously. For that reason, we use Shopify Payments to securely handle credit card information. We also process Paypal and Klarna transactions.
3. Shipping and Delivery
Delivery time within Sweden is normally 3-5 business days, in the EU plus Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland and Iceland within 7 business days and the rest of the world normally within 15 business days. Please note that delivery time for customised orders may take longer. The same delivery time applies when you order a product that is currently out of stock. We ship all orders within Sweden by registered Swedish post mail. Delays If delays in delivery occur (without our notification) you can contact us directly by email at email@example.com. You always have the right to cancel your purchase if delays in delivery occur. Despatched packages are normally not covered by the right of withdrawal.
5. Guarantees and Responsibility
Our stockings are made with lots of care and therefore we ask you to read and follow the washing instructions on the packages to ensure your item remains beautiful. You can cancel the purchase, but then there must be a serious product defect. You also have the right to return the product if it’s damaged when you receive it. We disclaim all responsibility for the product from the time it is used.
6. Complaints and Returns
If your package are unused, unopened and in the original product packaging with all labels and protective seals/stickers intact, you have the right to return the products within 30 days. You can return the products to our warehouse for a refund to be made. Fill out the digital return form attached here and send the products you want to return to us. Please note that we do not pay the shipment cost for environmental reasons.
Should you want to return products purchased at one of our retailers, please direct your return inquiry directly to the store that you initially made the purchase at. In this scenario, the return policy for each respective retailer will apply. This goes for online- as well as offline retailers.
Gift cards are non-returnable.
Sale items are non-returnable.
Please note that you must return your items within 30 days of receiving them. The products must be unused and in original condition – ie. in original packaging with all labels and protective seals/stickers intact. Products purchased directly from our website must be returned to our warehouse in exchange for store credits, fill out the form here. Products cannot be returned in a local retail store. If you wish to receive a different product, we invite you to place a new order on our website at your own convenience, with the store credits achieved. Please note that we do not refund shipping costs for exchanged or returned products.
If you want to exchange products purchased at one of our resellers, please direct your exchange inquiry directly to the store that you initially made the purchase at. In this scenario, the exchange policy for each respective reseller will apply. This goes for online as well as offline resellers.
Are you not satisfied with your recent purchase, or have you accidentally broken or ripped it? We are happy to accept returns within 30 days after your purchase. Just fill out the digital return form here and follow the instructions. The items you wish to return are your responsibility until we receive them. An insurance might be worth considering if you are sending back a large order. When your return has been processed, we will send you a new pair of stockings. Please note that we do not pay the shipment cost for environmentally reasons.
Complaints and claims
If you think a product has a manufacturing error you are welcome to send the product back to us. If you send us a claim, please note it's not guaranteed that it will be accepted and we do not send claims back, whether or not they are accepted. To receive a replacement, product with manufacturing error needs to be sent back to us, as it must be inspected and possibly returned to our manufacturer. You will have to pay for the shipping cost, but if it turns out to be a manufacturing error we will of course pay you back for the shipping and for the products. Please note that we pay a maximum of 15€ back for the shipping and we will need a receipt of the cost. Fill in the digital return form here.
Once your returning package has been received at our warehouse, it is processed and inspected before we proceed in approving or disapproving the respective return. We appreciate your understanding and patience, we work as quickly as possible. This process might take up to 14 days. Kindly observe that Swedish Stockings is not responsible for any items lost during the return shipping process. Therefore, we strongly recommend you to use registered mail and provide us with the tracking number of your returning package.
7. Product information
To meet the global awareness for eco-friendly processes, our stockings are primarily made out of recycled eco yarn. Together with NILIT® Ecocare we produce high quality ecological stockings. NILIT® Ecocare recycled nylon 6.6 with deep, uniform color is the first patented nylon recycled product. It has many advantageous properties, some of which are high-quality recycled polyamide chips that retain the properties of virgin fibers, excellent color depth and uniformity in regular dye process, minimises waste, reduces energy consumption and conserves crude oil. We work very closely with our suppliers to ensure the authenticity of every product.
8. Care instructions
We recommend that you take good care of your purchase to maintain its beautiful appearance and long-term usage. Please avoid contact with any rough materials or surfaces. 10. Force Majeur
Swedish Stockings shall in case of Force Majeure be relieved from liability for failure to perform obligations where the failure is a result of acts of nature, acts of terrorism, wars, accidents, strike, embargo, government sanction, sabotage, interruption or failure of electricity and internet services or other similar occurrence beyond Swedish Stockings’s control.
All disputes relating Swedish Stockings are determined in Swedish court of law.
