At Swedish Stockings, we are committed to driving change in the hosiery industry. Through our Recycling Club, we give worn-out tights a second life, preventing them from ending up in landfills. Since 2016, we have recycled thousands of tights, repurposing them into tables.

At the moment we can only receive old tights from within the EU.

Why it Matters

Traditional nylon tights are made from synthetic fibers that do not decompose or can be recycled into new tights. By recycling them with us, we take a step toward a circular fashion system and give your tights a new life.

How We Recycle

In the beginning, we used your tights to be used as filler material for industrial fibreglass tanks, often used in the commercial industry to separate grease from water, such as at gas stations and restaurants.

From Tights To Tables

In 2020, we decided to do something more with your used tights. In partnership with Swedish architect turned designer Gustaf Westman, we have created a collection of tables.
